Happy Bastille Day! Today the French celebrate the event that sparked the French revolution. In honor of our Francophone friends, what is your favorite French thing? Bonus points for answers en français.
Any french bread. |:
Fresh from the bakery things. |:
And I love France in general (apart from learning the language. I'm not a languages person aha)
I want to go back to the south of france and all the sunnyness that we used to have every year when we went on holiday x)

If you had to tighten your budget (or already have), what would be the easiest thing to cut?
New clothes I guess :/
And cut down on some junk food that I don't need
And maybe go out less? Becuase travelling costs so damn much D: aha
All the normal things :)

Do you think it's okay to tell little lies about small things to avoid hurting someone's feelings? Or is there no such thing as a harmless lie?
As a general rule, lying is bad and I refuse to do it.
I mean okay maybe a very small lie might work but at the same time it can be taken the wrong way or found out and then worked into something even bigger and lies really aren't worth the hassle.

Also, if you're trying to avoid hurting someone's feelings, that generally implies they are a friend; friendships are based on trust.
So really, there's no winning.

So no, it's not okay to tell any lie at all.

If a friend asked you for some new music recommendations, what would you suggest?
At this very moment, I've recently Holly Brook
I love her so much! :)

I'd also tell them to listen to Ashley Tisdale's new album 'cause I love that haha!
And The Veronicas are pretty cool too :)

...but then again, this wouldn't work for most of my friends 'cause they don't have the same taste as me x) So who knows! :L

Have you ever read someone's private writings (journal, diary, email, letters, etc.) without their permission?
Yes. I've mentioned this before, I found my mum & dad's old letters to each other from when they were dating.
They were the most beautiful things EVER and my dad was actually the sweetest guy in the whole world.
It made me love my parents even more, even though they're split up! Haha :)

(Although! It is interesting to note that my dad's wife wears the same clothes and likes the same things as my mum does, and my mum's boyfriend has the same NAME as my dad and loves cars to an extreme ;D Very funny xD)

It's blockbuster season in movie theaters. What was the last movie you saw?
At the cinema? Oh god it must have been a long time ago aha
Confessions of a shopaholic maybe? xD
But I'm going to see Sunshine Cleaning today! It looks so good :D
And I want to see Public Enemey at some point as well
(and obviously Harry Potter!)
And me and another friend have arranged to see Ice Age 3 when it's out :D

...I'm gonna have no money left soon xDDD

Do you think animals have a sense of humor?
Ummm probably not? Because in all honesty, yeah they are intelligent an' all that, but they have no language as such and so how would they find things funny?
Or understand things that are supposedly funny?

Have you ever performed CPR, mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, or the Heimleich maneuver on someone in an emergency?
Nope, and I doubt I'd be able to.
